Day 1: Johannesburg
Arrive and transfer to The Westcliff hotel for a luxurious overnight stay.
With wealth built on gold, Johannesburg is lively, affluent and cosmopolitan, offering the visitor a tempting array of superb restaurants, elegant designer boutiques and bustling world-class shopping centres. Rooms offer total privacy and most have sunny, private balconies with spectacular views over the Zoological Gardens and the forested northern suburbs of Johannesburg.
Days 2 & 3: Okavango Delta
After breakfast, leave Johannesburg on a scheduled flight to Maun in Botswana, and transfer by light aircraft to Eagle Island Camp. Enjoy two nights at the camp among the prolific birdlife of the island and surrounding Delta. Hear the swish of the paddle and the plop of the Fish Eagle as you take a tranquil mokoro trip through the Delta, water levels permitting..
Days 4 & 5: Moremi Wildlife Reserve
After early game viewing and brunch at Eagle Island, fly on to the game rich Khwai area of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve for two nights at Khwai River Lodge. Daily activities include excellent birdwatching and game drives in open-sided vehicles, where the incredible sight of elephant or lion will remain with you forever. Relax with a leisurely afternoon swim in the pool. Guided walks and night-time game drives are also offered. Khwai River Lodge also has its own “Naturally Wild” Spa treatment centre where you can unwind with a relaxing complimentary massage.
Days 6 & 7: Chobe National Park
After early morning game viewing and brunch at Khwai River Lodge, transfer via light aircraft to Savute region of the Chobe National Park an area renowned for its high concentration of elephant and for its dramatic ecosystem. During your two-night stay at the Savute Elephant Camp there are excellent opportunities to experience these grey giants and other large game at close quarters, under the skilled direction of an expert guide. Marvel at the fascinating contrasts in the landscape, which provides a natural habitat to innumerable animals and birdlife. On one evening, enjoy a private candle-lit dinner on your tent deck with our compliments.
Days 8 & 9: Livingstone
After a morning game viewing and brunch, transfer to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Kasane. Continue by road to Livingstone for a two night stay at the intmate Sussi & Chuma Lodge situated right on the banks of the Zambezi, a short distance from the Victoria Falls.
Day 10: Johnnesburg
Return flight to Johannesburg and overnight back at The Westcliff hotel.
Days 11 & 12: Rovos Rail
Transfer to Pretoria for the two-night Rovos Rail journey to Cape Town. The air-conditioned compartments accommodate two people, and the elegantly appointed train has every modern convenience. The 1,600 kilometer journey includes a visit to Kimberley, the diamond boom-town, home to the Big Hole, the world’s largest man-made excavation. The following morning you will arrive at historic Matjiesfontein and enjoy a guided tour, before an evening arrival at Cape Town and the elegant Mount Nelson Hotel for a three night stay. At the Mount Nelson, enjoy a complimentary 50min massage at the sparkling new Librisa Spa.
Days 13, 14 & 15: Cape Town
Time at leisure. Optional activities on offer include a full day visit to Cape Point, the most south-westerly point of Africa, and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, or a boat transfer to the infamous prison on Robben Island, whose most famous inmate was Nelson Mandela. Included in your itinerary is a half day city centre tour including Table Mountain and a full day Cape Winelands tour.
Day 16: Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

After a morning activity, transfer by light aircraft to Eagle Island Camp. Enjoy the opportunity to explore the surrounding areas either on foot, by mokoro (dugout canoe), by motorboat (subject
to water levels), or for the ultimate thrill, a helicopter safari with exceptional game viewing and photo opportunities. Private game viewing (vehicles and guides can be arranged at all camps),

Days 6 & 7: Chobe National Park
After a morning activity, fly on in anticipation of the big game at the Savute Elephant Camp. Four-wheel drive vehicles will take you to herds of impala, giraffe, zebra, and within close proximity
of the big cats and elephants that reign supreme in the Savute region.
Days 8, 9, 10 & 11: Cape Town
In the afternoon, transfer to Maun for the connecting flight to Cape Town, via Johannesburg. Enjoy four nights and three full days in Cape Town amongst the beauty of the winelands, Table Mountain
and Cape Point, the most south-westerly tip of Africa.

Day 1 and 2: The Westcliff Hotel, Johannesburg
On arrival in Johannesburg for the start of your adventure, you will be met O.R. Tambo International Airport and assisted with your luggage and immigration forms from the moment you step off the plane.
Transfer by luxury, chauffeur-driven sedan to Johannesburg’s most exclusive resort hotel, The Westcliff for a 2 night stay in a Luxury Room, inclusive of a pre-dinner cocktail at the hotel’s pioneer spirited Polo Lounge, famed for its spectacular panoramic views over the city, followed by a 3 course dinner in the acclaimed La Belle Terrasse restaurant.

Day 3 to 5: Singita Private Game Reserve – Kruger National Park
Depart Johannesburg in the morning for a scheduled charter flight to the award-winning Singita Private Game Reserve. Located in the Sabi Sand Reserve, spend 3 glorious nights at the Boulders, Ebony, Lebombo or Sweni Lodge, inclusive of three meals per day with traditional outdoor Boma dinners every evening. Today the African adventure begins as you fly to Livingstone (business class) and arrive by private luxury road transfer to the luxurious Royal Livingstone Hotel, adjacent to the magnificent Victoria Falls. The hotel is situated on the Zambia side of the Falls, only footsteps from the Zambezi River and the rooms and suites offer a tranquil retreat from the unconstrained beauty of their surroundings. Days 3, 4 & 5: Livingstone/Savute Elephant Camp
This morning, you will be transferred by shared light aircraft to the Savute region of the Chobe National Park, an area renowned for its high concentration of Elephant and dramatic eco system. During your three night stay at the Savute Elephant Camp you will see amazing sightings of lion, under the skilled direction of an expert guide. You will also have the luxury of watching elephants drink from the waterhole while sitting on the deck of your tent, enjoying your favourite drink. Days 6, 7 & 8: Moremi Wildlife Reserve
After brunch depart for Khwai. Witness the daily procession of big game that roams the Khwai floodplains, in front of the camp. Daily activities at Khwai include day and night game drives in open-sided 4X4 vehicles and walking safaris along the river. Other facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible include a large swimming pool, and a discreet gymnasium. During your stay, you can also enjoy a full day boat excursions to Xaxanaka Lagoon and Island with a picnic lunch. Days 9, 10 & 11: Okavango Delta

Depart camp after a morning activity for your scheduled flight to Cape Town. Private transfer to the famed Mount Nelson hotel, your home in the "Mother City" for 3 nights. Highly acclaimed wildlife and nature photographer Heinrich van den Berg has travelled the world extensively in his bid to “tell a story in every picture”. He has climbed icy volcanoes in Chile, tracked endangered mountain gorillas in Rwanda, searched for rare chameleons in Madagascar, wandered through the sacred temples of Cambodia and now he is going to explore the Okavango Delta.
Eight guests can experience the adventure of a lifetime with Heinrich, whilst learning how to capture their wildlife experiences forever in a fresh, evocative way and to learn some of his boundary breaking photographic techniques.
Eagle Island Camp includes a 45 minute scenic helicopter flight of the magnificent game-rich Okavango Delta as part of our range of exclusive activities, and this will lend itself to breathtaking photographic opportunities from the air.
About Heinrich van den Berg:
Heinrich van den Berg has photographed extensively in Southern Africa, capturing the elusive leopard in Kruger National Park, the desert elephant in Namibia’s Kaokoland, and the captivating birdlife of Botswana. The recipient of many awards, he was the first photographer to win the Eric Hoskings Award of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year for two consecutive years, he won the international Camel Trophy photographic competition in 1998 and has done assignment photography for Getty Images, National Geographic, the Peaceparks Foundation, bhp Billiton and Discovery Communications. Since 2001 Van den Berg has published nine photographic wildlife books.
