The Caledonian Hotel
The Caledonian Hotel, built in 1903 is situated in the very heart of Edinburgh, at one of the city's most prestigious locations, Princes Street. The hotel provides the finest possible base from which to explore one of the world's most beautiful cities and its many contrasts, from the tall dark buildings in medieval Old Town to the architecture in Georgian New Town.
Princes Street divides the Old Town and the New Town and at almost a mile in length, is Edinburgh's main and most famous shopping area. The street is a delight to wander down and offers some of the most impressive views of the Castle in the whole of Edinburgh.
