Hôtel de la Cité
The Hôtel de la Cité is the only 4 star property in Carcassonne's medieval citadel- the largest in Europe, a World Cultural Heritage site- and affords breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside and the Pyrenees mountain range.
The hotel's unique location is the ideal starting-point for a discovery trip of the Cathar castles, wine-tasting excursions into the increasingly popular Corbières and Minervois vineyards or a barge trip on the Canal du Midi.
The hotel was recently renovated and features 61 individually appointed rooms and suites, an outdoor heated pool, a gourmet restaurant with a striking neo-gothic decor mentioned by all major gastronomic guides, and private cellars for dining in style. |
We have specialised staff who will assist you in all the preparations, through our Pre-Event Consultation Services. This includes all arrangements and personalisation you could possibly dream of. For instance, we will arrange to have your guests' luggage delivered directly from the airport to their rooms, whilst they travel in style to the hotel in one of our limousines.
