The Ultimate Takeover provides a broad range of flexibility. Programs are tailored to address every need from dining, meeting and leisure pursuits to airport transfers, destination tours and off-site entertainment. On-site event co-ordinators work closely with meeting planners and consumers to create flawless events to suit a range of budgets. Gourmet dining plans can be designed to encompass either all-inclusive or a la carte options, while leisure activities can range from boating excursions and wine tastings to golf and tennis lessons, tournaments and cooking classes. Flexibility also extends to hotel facilities. Whether guests require the installation of extra telephone and fax lines or the transformation of dramatic public spaces for elaborate theme parties, imagination is all that is required.
We are able to specifically cater for three different sized programmes, which would be allocated in three different sections of the hotel. Each programme has been scheduled according to group size and is merely an outline of a possible schedule - bearing in mind that each programme can be altered to suit each individual group.

We offer three programmes, based on group size. The smallest, the Garden Cottages Programme, can host a maximum of 16 guests. This programme will be centred on the eight private Garden Cottage suites on The Sydenham Terrace, overlooking private gardens and an exclusive swimming pool. Here's a taste of what your takeover would entail.
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, all guests will be welcomed in the VIP lounge by your personal event co-ordinator and escorted to the helipad. Guests can enjoy a flight over "the mother city" ending at The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront where private limousines await for the short trip to the hotel.
On arrival, chilled Cape Sparkling wine and light snacks will be served around the private swimming pool before the guests are escorted to their suites.
That evening, guests can enjoy cocktails in the Planet Champagne & Cocktail Bar or on the terrace under the beautiful African night sky, followed by an evening of sublime flavours in the Cape Colony restaurant with a four-course dinner utilising china, crystal and silver cutlery.
A traditional South African Buffet Breakfast will be laid out around the swimming pool for guests, before the highlight of the day when the party climbs on board open top sports saloons MG roadsters or Harley Davidson Motorcycles for a full day peninsula tour. There'll also be an optional leisurely horseback ride along the beach.
What could be more impressive than sundowners and dinner atop Table Mountain where the city lies spread before you - your own private festival of lights! A private dinner party venue, overlooking the Table Bay, is yours for the evening.
After another sumptuous South African breakfast, guests will enjoy a day at sea, aboard a private yacht, including a trip to the World Heritage Site of Robben Island, known for being the prison home of Nelson Mandela.
That evening, the guests will be chauffeur driven in Vintage cars around the city sights and to the Africa Cafe, where they can enjoy an authentic meal in a private room at this leading African restaurant, entertained by top African musicians.
After an early morning breakfast guests are driven to the Cape Winelands where they can enjoy private tours and wine tastings at several of the Cape's premium vineyards personally tutored by the winemakers. Lunch is at the famous Nederburg Homestead, a stunningly beautiful setting with food to match.
Dinner will be a black tie affair with a nautical flair, served in The Union Castle Room at the hotel, reminiscent of the captain's table of the passenger liners of yesteryear. After breakfast on the final day, guests can enjoy some time at leisure either around the beautiful hotel gardens or local souvenir shopping at selected boutiques before their limousine trip back to Cape Town International Airport.
