Your Journey

Clough William-Ellis' lifelong concern was with “Architecture and Landscape Design”. This eclectic village was famously used for the filming of the cult 1960's television show “The Prisoner” and is the spiritual home of the Portmeirion style of pottery.

A delicious brunch with Bucks Fizz is served on your outward journey to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Here you board the Ffestiniog Railway narrow-gauge railway for the scenic journey through the Snowdonia National Park to Porthmadog and then a take the short coach transfer to along the cob to Portmeirion. At Portmeirion your time is your own to explore its charming architecture set in beautiful grounds.

At the end of the visit you are taken on a guided coach tour ending at the Northern Belle. A glass of chilled champagne is served as soon as you board the train, followed by a four-course supper accompanied by half a bottle of wine.
