Marquetry Enamel Box

This enamel box is hand crafted in England. The lid is hand decorated with the marquetry VSOE logo design, inspired by the marquetry panels on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. 

The production of enamel boxes is still a uniquely traditional British craft. Each box is made from copper, which is then coated and decorated in enamel and fired at an extremely high temperature.
