Paris-Istanbul Route Enamel Box

This Enamel Box is hand crafted in England. The lid is painted with a map of the route of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express from Paris to Istanbul. 

Enamel boxes are a uniquely traditional British craft. They are fired at an extremely high temperature. This box also features a brass gold plated hinge.
