Enamel Box with Train Design

This enamel box is hand crafted in England. The lid is hand decorated with the Eastern & Oriental Express logo design, surrounded by the signature tiger emblem. The green Eastern & Oriental Express carriages circle the base.

The production of enamel boxes is still a uniquely traditional British craft. Each box is made from copper, which is then coated and decorated in enamel and fired at an extremely high temperature.
