Printed on high quality art paper, this poster has been commissioned especially for the Eastern & Oriental Express. 

The poster features the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and Wat Pho, the largest temple, with the largest number of stupas in Bangkok, and containing  the famous Reclining Buddha in the background. 

The foreground shows a traditional wooden carriage, the symbol of Lampang town, which are still used today as taxis rather than the tuk-tuk.  

The style is influenced by posters created for Malaysian Railways in the period of the 1920’s and 30’s.
