For all your Water Sports needs visit our Beach Front Water Sports Cabana open daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Step out of your villa and onto the beach for some sun and fun.
Spend your days on the water in a kayak, sailing dinghie or just float the day away. Learn to waterski, wakeboard or let the kids use our 'banana' boat ($40 for 15 minutes). Charter La Samanna’s 38ft powerboat for a true island adventure, learn to scuba dive or see the coast by wave runner, all from our property.
La Samanna’s veteran staff can coordinate all your on and off property excursions.

If fishing is your passion, then don't miss this opportunity to venture beyond the reef into open seas and try your luck with the big game. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit, shorts and t-shirt, and bring along sunscreen, sandals, sunglasses, camera, and a cap.

Learn to dive with our 1 Day Discover Scuba Resort Course. From our pool to your dive in the same day! (10 years and up, all gear included). All inclusive 1 and 2 tank dives for certified divers available. Our dive shop and private dive boat accommodate all levels of divers.
Favorite locations, classified as regional underwater nature reserves, include the protected waters of:
- Orient Bay
- Green Key
- Ile Pinel
- Flat Island
$200 per tank for first time divers, $100 per tank for certified divers.
Scuba Diving is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (2 people minimum).
Wave Runners
Latest model Wave Runners conveniently brought to our beach daily for your enjoyment. Available by the half hour for $90 or discover the coastline with our one hour guided tour for $180.
Please note: must be 16 years or older, 2 people maximum per machine.
Snorkelling
Get fitted with your gear at the Water Sports Cabana and join La Samanna’s dive boat for a 2 hour snorkeling excursion to Creole Rock, off the coast of St. Martin’s famed Grand Case. Enjoy the mini island tour en route also great for non-snorkelers!
Trips depart 10.30am Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from our private dock. Afternoon and private excursions available on request. Please note that there is a 4 person minimum for these trips.
Snorkel trips - $75 per person (4 person minimum and 8 person maximum) or $300 for Private Snorkel Charter for up to 2 people.
