HOURLY POSITIONS
Food & Beverage
The New Orleans Grill - Host/Hostess
Position Overview - Ensure a positive first and last impression by maintaining a professional, pleasant and helpful attitude while greeting guests, escorting them to their table and fulfilling their needs. The selected candidate will take reservations; understand the tea menu, tea service, and cocktail service in detail.
Position Requirements - 1 year of customer service experience required and ability to work in a high volume environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work multiple phone lines. Ability to operate POS system.
The New Orleans Grill - PM Server Assistant
Position Overview - Ensure all food, condiments, and other New Orleans Grill products are thoroughly prepared and stocked. Selected candidates will pick up clean linens and dispose of dirty laundry daily.
Position Requirements - Qualified candidates must have 1 year customer service experience and ability to work in a high volume environment.
Polo Club Lounge - Bartender/Barback
Position Overview: Prepare a variety of drinks, including but not limited to specialty, mixed, and espresso drinks. The selected candidate will set up bar area according to Windsor Court specifications, and keep bar stocked up to par. Pick up necessary bar supplies, including but not limited to liquor and juices. Breakdown bar area according to Windsor Court Hotel’s specifications. Return bar supplies to required location.
Position Requirements - Qualified candidate must have 1 year of bartending and/or barback experience. TIPS certification preferred.
Le Salon - Host/Hostess

Cook II Position Overview - Prepare food according to the quality standards of the Windsor Court Hotel. Address and resolve all customer problems in an efficient and effective manner. Maintain Cook’s station. Maintain kitchen inventory.

Pastry Cook II Position Overview - Prepare desserts according to the quality standards of the Windsor Court Hotel. Address and resolve all customer problems in an efficient and effective manner. Maintain pastry area. Maintain pastry inventory. Rotate, cover, label and date all food. Minimize spoilage, waste and over production.
Position Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pastry Cook. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
Rooms
Room Attendant
Position Overview - To exceed our guest’s expectations by maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness of the guest rooms.
Position Requirements - Previous housekeeping experience helpful. Position requires standing and walking for entire shift. Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs. Extensive standing, stooping, and bending involved. Able to focus on details and possess a positive presence and service skills.
Turndown Attendant
Position Overview - To exceed our guest’s expectations by maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness of the guest rooms.

Houseperson Position Overview - Clean all public areas according to the quality standards of the Windsor Court Hotel. Make deliveries to guests as necessary. Provide Room Attendants with necessary supplies. Collect and dispose of trash as necessary. Any other assigned tasks or duties as required.
Position Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience or housekeeping or janitorial experience. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to lift/move 50 pounds.
MANAGEMENT POSITIONS
Laundry Manager
Position Overview - Lead, supervise, train and direct the Laundry department. Ensure that all Laundry personnel fulfill their job functions appropriately. Address and resolve all customer problems in an efficient and effective manner. Coordinate the cleaning and pressing of guest clothing, employee uniforms and hotel linens. Responsible for understanding the proper usage of all Laundry machinery and spotting solutions. Maintain necessary linen supplies for Food and Beverage department. Maintain daily records of pounds cleaned. Maintain record of all discarded linen sold. Maintain Laundry inventory. Ensure that all Laundry machinery is kept in good working condition. Responsible for understanding all chemicals used in the Laundry department and the corresponding M.S.D.S.
Position Requirements - Minimum of 2 years in laundry management preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong mathematical skills. Strong organizational skills. Must be computer literate. Must be able to lift and/or move 25 pounds and able to handle a noisy environment.
