Day 1

Arrival

Mount Nelson Hotel

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by an Orient-Express representative. They will assist you through the arrivals hall and escort you to your private transfer.

Mount Nelson Hotel is Cape Town’s legendary luxury resort. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, the hotel is ideally situated to explore the cultural centre, the V&A Waterfront and the best local beaches.

Day 2-3

Cape Town

Optional day tours are on offer at an additional cost. Choose from a private half-day Cape Town city tour, which can include Robben Island, a private full-day Winelands tour or a private full-day Cape Point tour.

Day 4-5

Okavango Delta

Eagle Island Camp

Your Orient-Express representative will escort you to your private transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your regional, scheduled flight to Botswana via Johannesburg.

Upon arrival at Maun Airport, you will transfer by shared light aircraft to Eagle Island Camp.

Spend the day viewing game in the beautiful wilderness of the Okavango Delta and its surrounds. Few people are privileged enough to visit this inaccessible area, as can be seen and felt by the abundance of wildlife and the utter tranquillity.

Included in your stay at Eagle Island Camp is a spectacular game-viewing helicopter flight. The open sides of the helicopter will allow you to take the most fantastic photographs.

Day 6-7

Chobe National Park

Savute Elephant Camp

Fly to the Savute region in the heart of the Chobe National Park, an area known as the elephant capital of the world.

Perched on the banks of the Savute Channel, with an elevated view of the river, Savute Elephant Camp is a spectacular base from which to explore the area.

Day 8

Departure

Transfer by shared light aircraft to Maun Airport to connect with the regional, scheduled flight to Johannesburg.

Upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport, you will be met by an Orient-Express representative and escorted to the departures terminal.
