Orient-Express joins the global party
17th March 2011 – This September, Orient-Express will be hosting the first of the London celebrations of the highly anticipated The Global Party, a unique world-wide event that comprises of 80+ parties over a 24 hour period round the world. The London festivities will commence with a journey for 200 elite VIPs aboard the beautiful vintage 1920’s carriages of the British Pullman, where Champagne will be in abundance, served by liveried stewards.
On the 15th September, departing from and returning to London Victoria, the lucky guests will be whisked away on an exciting and convivial journey through the English countryside, which can be viewed from the plush armchairs which are cocooned by the polished Art Deco Marquetry adorning the walls. Crystal glasses will be topped up with fine Champagne and wines, served alongside a selection of delicious canapés.
Inspired by the travels of Phileas Fogg, The Global Party will be hosting 80+ parties, across 71 cities, over a 24 hour period at some of the worlds most luxurious and prestigious venues, inviting a number of elite individuals. An event with heart as well as style, The Global Party will raise money for 12 charities including ARK (Absolute Return for Kids), The Duke of Edinburgh Award (IAA International Award Association), Tusk Trust and Blue Marine Foundation.
