4th January 2013 - Our historic manor house hotel in the bohemian village of Deia, Mallorca is celebrating the beginning of their 2013 season on February 14th with a special offering for guests who want to book a Valentine’s treat for their loved one. The Valentine’s Experience at La Residencia includes luxury accommodation for two people, a £40 spa credit per person, and a romantic four-course candle-lit gourmet dinner, sure to set the scene for a heady fairy-tale weekend away. 

The luxury boutique hide-away hotel provides the perfect environment for a romantic weekend away, with the imposing Tramuntana mountains and lush gardens making for the most picturesque backdrop. Guests will stay in a Junior Suite and enjoy a complimentary bottle of champagne to begin their stay in style. During the day, lovers can wander the grounds of the hotel which are punctuated with olive and lemon groves or they can take a leisurely stroll along a nature trail passing by pinewood forests up to a secluded Mallorcan stone house where they can enjoy a traditional Mallorcan picnic. Those who want a more cultured experience, and perhaps who want to take away a memento of their stay, can take part in one of several of the hotel’s art classes where they can create their own sculpture or painting masterpiece.

To completely relax and unwind, each guest will be gifted with a £40 spa credit to spend at La Residencia’s award winning spa. The treatment menu includes luxurious massages including the Olive Activator, using olives picked from the surrounding groves, or the Citrus Siesta, also using lemons that are grown on the hotel’s grounds. 

In the evening, couples will be treated to a romantic candle-lit four course dinner at the hotel’s gourmet restaurant El Olivo, set in a 16th century olive press, rounding off the  day. 

The next morning there will be no rush to leave as a full breakfast will be served in suite, which guests will have access to until 2pm allowing for a leisurely lie-in. 

Prices for the Valentine’s Experience start from approximately £334 per room for a one night stay on February 14th only based on two sharing. For those who want to extend their stay into a long weekend, any additional nights will be charged at a special rate of approximately £237 per room per night. The offer is valid for arrivals on February 14th and the special rate for additional nights is available until 17th February only.
