SUMMARY
Day 1
Upon arrival in Lima, transfer will be provided to the exclusive Miraflores Park Hotel, where you will be escorted to a magnificent Ocean View Executive Suite for a two night stay. Spend the rest of your time at leisure.
Day 2
After breakfast, spend the morning touring downtown and the most beautiful neighborhoods in Lima. Thereafter enjoy a visit to the Larco Herrera Museum, located in a royal mansion of the 18th century. You will see gold and silver collections from ancient Peru as well as an interesting erotic pottery collection. At night, discover Peruvian food while enjoying the view of a 2000 year old archaeological site, the Huaca Pucllana.
Day 3
After breakfast, morning transfer will be arranged to the airport, where you will take your flight to Cuzco. On arrival, we have arranged reception and transfer to the Hotel Monasterio, the hallowed colonial San Antonio Abad seminary, built more than 300 years ago. You will be welcomed with a comforting cup of hot coca tea and escorted to your Deluxe Oxygen-enriched Room where you will overnight three nights. A la carte lunch will be served at the main courtyard of the Hotel. In the afternoon be delighted by a city tour where you will discover the wonders of the City of Cuzco, the Cathedral, churches and the Temple of the Sun: Qoriqancha; as well as the main ruins as the Sacsayhuaman fortress, Quenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Tonight you are free to explore the city on your own.
Day 4
Early morning transfer to the train station of Poroy; you will travel to Machu Picchu via the luxurious Hiram Bingham train. Lunch on board. At 12:30pm the train will arrive in Aguas Calientes where a guide will take you up to the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu by private bus. Get ready to experience one of the most outstanding archaeological wonders of the world on a private tour. After the tour you will be transferred back to Aguas Calientes and to the Hiram Bingham train to return to Cusco. On board there will be an exquisite dinner. Upon arrival at Poroy, a private transfer will await to take you back to the Hotel Monasterio.
Day 5
We have arranged a private transfer for a full day at the Sacred Valley, starting at the city of Chincheros, which contains the infrastructure of a typical Inca town. Afterwards, savor an exquisite lunch at the Huayocari house, where you will have a wonderful view of the valley. To continue this magical journey you will travel up the valley to Ollantaytambo, the last Inca town that still retains its original architecture. Spend your evening at leisure.
Day 6
Morning transfer to the airport has been organized for you to board your plane to Lima, where a day room at the Miraflores Park Hotel has been arranged for your convenience. In the afternoon enjoy a visit to Mari Solari’s folk-art shop and private art collection followed by a personalized shopping tour. Later, transfer to Lima's international airport, where you will take your flight home.
