Hotels - Chester Grosvenor

Caledonian Hilton | Chester Grosvenor

Built in 1865, the Chester Grosvenor is a magnificent black and white building in the centre of historic Chester, set beside the Roman walls and close to Chester Cathedral and the famous Victorian Clock. Step through the elegant portals of this prestigious hotel and you are immediately enveloped in the traditions and grandeur of a bygone age.

The hotel, owned by The Duke of Westminster's Grosvenor Estate is renowned for its cuisine and offers two excellent restaurants - 'The Arkle', boasting one Michelin Star, and the informal 'La Brasserie'. A Leisure Suite, with a small gymnasium, is situated on the first floor of the hotel.

The Chester Grosvenor offers 83 unique bedrooms all of which are individually designed and are furnished with the finest fabrics. The hotel's superior rooms offer one Queen bed, plus a large room with a coffee table and chairs. All are beautifully appointed, air-conditioned and fitted with all the modern amenities expected in a luxury, city centre hotel. On its doorstep are the city's famous Rows - the medieval streets that house a wealth of speciality shops.

The hotel has been showered with awards, including five stars by both the AA and RAC, and the ETC Five Star and Gold Awards.

Room upgrades at The Chester Grosvenor are available on request. Please ask for details.
