Your Journey | Your journey will take you to Chatsworth, home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The house and gardens you will see have evolved gradually over the centuries and have been open to visitors virtually since the first house was built in 1552. After travelling to Chesterfield on the train, you will be met by guides for the coach transfer to Chatsworth.
Wander amidst the stately elegance of one of the finest houses in Britain. Visit the chapel, view the tapestries, sculptures and old masters before exploring the immaculate gardens. Chatsworth is an exquisite and magical destination throughout the changing seasons. The house will be decorated for Christmas and you can take advantage of the farm shop, the gift shop and the garden centre to buy unusual gifts.
Return by coach to Chesterfield Station for the journey home. A glass of chilled champagne is served as soon as you board the train. This is followed by a delicious five-course dinner accompanied by half a bottle of wine and a liqueur to round off your meal.

At Chatsworth House the structure of the house imposes limitations because there are 160 steps on the public route. Access is available into the Sculpture Gallery, Great Dining Room, Ante-Library and a view into the Library and Painted Hall. There is also a video of the public route shown throughout the day in the Information Room.
There are 3 electric scooters and 4 manual wheelchairs available for use in the garden at no charge.
