Your journey takes you to the beautiful Scottish Island of Bute, home to Mount Stuart. Mount Stuart is Britain's most astounding Victorian gothic mansion. Home to the Stuarts of Bute, descendants of the Royal House of Stuart, this magnificent house sits proudly on the Isle of Bute - ancient stronghold of Scottish kings.
On arrival at Wemyss Bay, you will be transferred to a ferry for the short crossing over to the Isle of Bute. Discover the lavish gothic palace with its marble hall, inspiring chapel and rich reception rooms, all set within 300 acres of stunning gardens, woodlands and wildlands, a real botanical extravaganza.
Rejoin the Northern Belle at Wemyss where you are welcomed aboard with a glass of chilled champagne. Later, a sumptuous dinner is served accompanied by half a bottle of wine.

Access | This journey is rated as fair for passengers with special access needs. Mount Stuart has assisted wheelchair access (lift serves all floors). Most garden areas are accessible although there is some loose gravel and a few steep and uneven paths. A map showing suitable routes is available. A designated toilet for wheelchair users is situated within the Visitor Centre and at Mount Stuart.
