Your Journey

The breathtaking sight of Exbury's 200-acre woodland gardens is a spectacle to both marvel at and admire. The famous Rothschild collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias are a living rainbow of colour in the spring, and the gardens retain their unique beauty throughout the seasons. Why not enjoy a 20 minute journey on Exbury’s own 12 ¼ gauge Steam Railway and view the gardens in style.

A three course lunch with wine and champagne is served on the outward journey. On arrival at Southampton, you are met by your guide who accompanies you on the coach transfer to Exbury. Here, you are free to look around the gardens at your leisure or browse in the excellent shop and plant centre. Rejoin the coach for the transfer to Southampton (approx 40 minutes) where you board the British Pullman for the return journey to London. A glass of chilled champagne is served as soon as you board the train. This is followed by a three course supper accompanied by half a bottle of wine.

Smart day wear is appropriate. You are asked not to wear jeans or trainers. Please remember you will be outdoors for most of your time in Exbury.
