Your Journey | Take a day trip aboard the British Pullman to the 17th-century home of the Earl and Countess of Harewood, set in acres of grounds landscaped by ‘Capability’ Brown. On your tour of the house you’ll discover exquisite collections of Chippendale furniture, fine art and china.

What to wear: Smart daywear is appropriate; please do not wear jeans or trainers. Do remember to wear sensible shoes as you will be outdoors for part of your time at Harewood.
Access: This journey is suitable for passengers with special access needs. There are six steps up to the front door of Harewood House and an electric wheelchair lift fitted to the side of the steps. The house’s desk staff will be happy to assist. The rooms open to the public are all on one floor.
There is a ramp up to the Terrace. Both the Terrace and Parterre have gravel paths but are not too difficult for the experienced wheelchair pusher.
