Itinerary
Days 1-2 – Venice
Spend two days exploring the magical delights of the Floating City, home to waterside palaces and great artistic treasures. Return each evening to the beautiful Hotel Cipriani.
Day 3 – Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Your journey on the legendary train begins at Venezia Santa Lucia station. After settling in, sit down to a delicious three-course lunch in one of the restaurant cars.
The afternoon can be spent exploring the train or relaxing in the comfort of your cabin as you course past spectacular scenery. Afternoon tea is served in your cabin.
In the evening, make your way to one of the opulent restaurant cars for a four-course feast, prepared on board by our skilled French chefs. Perhaps have a tipple in the Bar Car before retiring.
Day 4 – Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, early evening arrival in Copenhagen
After breakfast, served in your cabin, you may wish to spend the morning chatting with fellow travellers in the Bar Car.
Lunchtime brings another splendid repast in the restaurant car. Afterwards, relax in your cabin, admiring the vistas from your window and enjoying afternoon tea served by your steward.
As the train arrives into Hovedbanegard station, alight for your transfer to the Marriott Hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 5 – Copenhagen and Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Spend the morning exploring the vibrant Danish capital before preparing to depart for the last leg of your journey on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.
After you have settled into your private cabin it is time for dinner—four delicious courses of European cuisine. Retire to your cabin, which has now been transformed into a cosy bedroom.
Day 6
Breakfast is served in your cabin at a time to suit you. Alight at Stockholm’s Central Station and prepare to explore the wondrous “Venice of the North”, or continue your onward travels.
