Itinerary
Days 1-2 – Venice
Spend two days enjoying the elegant surroundings of the Hotel Cipriani and exploring Venice.
Day 3 – Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Board the luxury train at Venezia Santa Lucia station. Enjoy a three-course lunch in one of the beautifully restored restaurant cars.
Spend the afternoon relaxing in your cabin, watching the world go by with an indulgent afternoon tea.
Sit down to a four-course dinner, prepared by Head Chef Christian Bodiguel and his team. After dinner, wind down over a nightcap in the Bar Car.
Day 4 – Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, evening arrival in Copenhagen
Enjoy breakfast served in your cabin, and spend the morning chatting to fellow travellers in the Bar Car before a gastronomic three-course lunch.
While away your last hours on the train relaxing in your cabin, admiring the scenery over afternoon tea. Disembark at Copenhagen’s Hovedbanegard station, from where you are escorted to the Marriott Hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 5 – Copenhagen, Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Wander the streets of Copenhagen, home to myriad waterways and beautiful design stores.
Rejoin the train for the last part of your journey. Settle into your cabin before heading to the restaurant car for a four-course feast. Retire to your cabin, now a cosy bedroom, for the night.
Day 6 - Stockholm
Wake to breakfast, served in your cabin. The train pulls into Stockholm’s Central station, from where you are escorted to the Grand Hotel for a two-night stay.
Days 7-8 – Stockholm
Spend the next two days exploring Stockholm’s 14 islands with their magnificent architecture, stylish stores, medieval streets and vibrant arts scene.
