Day 1: From Palermo to the hidden gems of Messina
11:30 AM Boarding at Palermo Central Station. Set off for an adventure on the coast. But first, enjoy lunch in the Dining Car and savor the finest flavors of Italian gastronomy.
4:00 PM. Head for Messina. Ferry crossing and Tea Time in the cabin.
5:30 PM. Arrival at Villa San Giovanni. Pull out all the stops for the royal dinner aka Le Grand Soir evening banquet in the Dining Car

Day 2: Maratea: an Italian gem
8:30 AM. After breakfast in the cabin comes a grand arrival at the Maratea station for "The Wonders of the Tyrrhenian Sea" experience. Discover the "City of 44 churches", overlooking the sea, followed by a magical stop in front of the second largest statue of Christ in the world, and a cocktail at the Santa Venere Hotel, one of the most prestigious spots on the Italian coast. The magic continues with a ride on a "gozzo", the local boat, to explore the caves and secrets of the Maratea coast or a session at the hotel's pool and private beach.
1:00 PM. Ciao, Maratea. Head back on board before lunch served in the Dining Car. Gaze at the most beautiful landscapes of Sicily through the train’s windows.
5:30 PM. End of the trip. The city of Rome awaits you. Welcome to the Città Eterna!
