Matira Beach and the Coastal Defense Guns - 6 to 7.5 km

Raititi Point marks the start of the beautiful Matira Beach.  Along the road are several boutiques and local snacks.

From the eastern edge of the Hotel Matira property, a walking trail runs up the hill to a battery of coastal defence guns. It is only a ten minute hike up to the emplacement.
