2008 Rates

Rate includes:

• Full daily a la carte breakfast in our Restaurants or Room Service 
• Welcome Margarita cocktail upon arrival 
• One snorkeling trip per guest, per stay, to the world's second largest barrier reef 
• Round-trip airport transfers (private transportation can be arranged at additional cost) 
• Use of fitness center                                          

All rates are in USD per room (based upon double occupancy), per night .
Applicable 12% tax and 10% service fee are additional.

Deposit: 
A two night deposit is required at time of reservation, except during the Holiday period (see below).

Cancellation:
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing.  A two night penalty will be charged for cancellations within 14 days of arrival and 45 days for the holiday period.

Children:
From January 1 to May 27, no children under 16 years of age are allowed on property.  From May 28 to December 21, no children under 12 years of age are allowed on property.  From December 22 to 31, no children under 16 years of age are allowed on property.

Restrictions for Holiday Period (December 21 to December 31, 2008):
Reservations will require a pre-payment of 50% of the entire stay refundable 45-days prior to arrival.  Within 45-days, deposit is non-refundable. 

Policies:

Round-trip airport transfers:  One round-trip per room is included in the room rate.  This means that both guests need to arrive at the airport at the same time to take advantage of this inclusion.  If the guests are arriving on different flights (one guest arriving later than the other regardless of it being the same day or different days) Maroma Resort and Spa is willing to provide, with at least 48 hours advance notice, an airport transfer for an additional service fee.  Later arriving guests may also arrange their own airport transportation if they so choose, but will not be reimbursed by Maroma Resort and Spa.  Remember flight information is essential to provide excellent service.

Early departures:  If the length of stay is shortened on a reservation or an early departure is made within the cancellation period, the guest will be charged for the entire stay as confirmed 15 days prior to arrival.

Additional Charges:  Government tax of 12% (government taxes subject to change) plus 10% service charge.

The Hotel reserves the right to change or alter included activities.

Minimum Stay Requirements 2008

Restrictions for Holiday Period 2008
December 21, 2008 to January 3, 2009

For all room accommodations:
Arrivals will be allowed:
Christmas period.  On December 21st for five (5) nights stay. From December 22 through December 25th, the hotel will be closed to arrivals and departures.
New Years Period: On December 26th for Eight (8) nights stay. From December 27 through January 2nd, 2009 the hotel will be closed to arrivals and departures.
Holiday period: On December 21st for eleven (11) nights stay. From December 22 through December 31st the hotel will be closed to arrivals and departures.
Cancellations must be received in writing 45 days prior to arrival; a 50% penalty of the total stay will be charge for cancellation with in the 45 days prior to arrival.
