The Chef’s Table is presided over by Mount Nelson Hotel’s Executive Chefs and a select team of waiters. Guests may choose to observe or take part in the preparation of specific dishes, and then as each sublime course is plated and served, the chefs are on hand to share the recipes, anecdotes and inspiration behind each dish.
The perfect event to mark any special occasion – from corporate celebrations to birthdays, anniversaries and bachelor parties - the Chef’s Table menu may be customised and themed according to the group’s preferences, and a bespoke Chef’s Table dinner makes an ideal gift for serious foodies and people who have everything.
The Chef’s Table is available for reservations seven days a week and caters for a minimum of six, and a maximum of ten people. Menus may be personalised and themed, and the cost per person is likely to vary depending on the menu. A four-course dinner, including pre-dinner drinks and canapés, is priced from R700* per person, and includes an apron and personalised menu to take home.
