The Thoroughbred Club is open 11:00 am - 12:00 Midnight , 7 days a week. Conveniently located adjacent the grand staircase, the Thoroughbred Club serves traditional afternoon tea from 1pm to 4pm Monday through Saturday. Cocktails, tapas/appetizers and desserts are served 4pm to 11pm, seven days a week. Live entertainment is enjoyed seven nights per week. |
A perfect atmosphere for a bridal shower or an afternoon get together, the tea service at the Thoroughbred Club was voted "Best Tea in the South" by Southern Living Magazine. Our knowledgeable service staff serves the finest selection of imported teas from Harney and Sons and Taylor’s of Harrogate, as well as Charleston's own Charleston Tea Plantation teas. In the evenings a fantastic tapas menu is served in the relaxed lounge atmosphere of the Club. Fresh made desserts are available from our in house pastry kitchen. A wide array of sherries, ports, wines, bourbons and cognacs are offered. From tea service to traditional cocktails to exciting unconventional libations and local favorites, there is something for everyone at the Thoroughbred Club.
