Karl Parkinson, General Manager -
Orient-Express Tours & Safaris
Educated in his former country of adoption, Hong Kong, Karl started his career as a tour escort leading groups in and around China during the early nineties. His penchant for travel however had a further calling – Africa. So it was in 1996 that Karl packed up his life in the Orient for another type of Orient – that of the Safaris! Appointed General Manager of Orient-Express Safaris in 2003 Karl is responsible for the success of Orient-Express’ three safari camps in Northern Botswana, arguably one of the most pristine wilderness environments in the world today. |
Connie Neubold, Tours Manager
Connie has been within the South African inbound tourism industry as well as the Safari industry since 1992 and shares a wealth of knowledge on Southern Africa and touring logistics with her dedicated team, based at the Mount Nelson Hotel, Cape Town. Having mastered the FIT, Group and Incentives tour operating skills at Tourvest in the 90's, she complemented the company with her marketing, reservations and sales management of the Safari Lodges at Abercrombie & Kent. As Tours Manager, she and her team offer an all encompassing tour operating as well as reservation’s service throughout the region to travel agents and direct clients. |  |

Vicki Scholtz, Tours Consultant
Vicki has been involved in the travel industry for 10 years, the last 7 of which have been specialised in Southern Africa and dealing mainly with the 5 star American market. She has a passion for Africa and all that it has to offer her clients. |
Monique Adriaan, Tours Consultant
Monique Adriaan joined the Orient-Express Safaris Tours office in 2005 as a Tours Consultant. Before joining Orient-Express she has worked for one of the country’s leading car rental agencies based at Cape Town International Airport. She has experience in various sectors in the hospitality and tourism industry, bringing in a great passion for customer service and complimenting the division with her attention to detail and passion for the Safari industry. Born and bred in Cape Town, she knows how to appreciate the good things in life, bringing a whole new meaning to investment in excellence! |  |

Zenobia Rossouw, Tours Consultant
Zenobia joined the Orient-Express-Safaris team in Cape Town, South Africa in January 2008. Having obtained a BA Tourism and B Honours degrees at the University of the Western Cape, she has worked in different divisions of the tourism service industry for about 7 years including almost 3 years years at Thebe Conferences and Events. She belives that the tourism industry is an important sector for the country’s growth and is extremely passionate about the development and the sustainable growth of this industry, and endeavors to deliver a service that resembles this passion. |
