Saturday, January 10th
Join Executive Chef Craig Hartman as he kicks off his 2009 cooking school series with the introduction of the Art of Slow Cooking. Chef will demonstrate the techniques that master chefs around the world keep closely guarded about this most comfortable and warm style of cooking. Learn the secrets behind finishing sauces, picking the right meats, and then how to slow cook them to perfection. You will go home with great warm-the-heart-and-soul recipes to try throughout these final winter months.
Saturday, February 7th
For centuries, cultures around the world have experimented and pronounced certain foods as aphrodisiacs (foods for love). Chef Hartman celebrates and explores dishes that are sure to ignite your zest for love during this most
romantic of months. You are invited to learn how to prepare such delectable dishes as warm and invigorating spice doughnuts, chocolate decadence, wild mushroom bisque and, of course, oysters of all kinds. |

Chef Hartman invites you to his first Taste of the Orient-Express international cooking school designed to share some of the award winning recipes from fellow Orient-Express master chefs from around the world. Chef will guide
you through the extraordinary culinary experiences of Russian, Peruvian and French cuisine and the techniques that make each so unique and exceptional. Be sure not to miss this delightful way to tour the gastronomic world
of OEH.
Keswick’s Cooking School Series classes are held from 11 am – 2 pm and include personalized instruction and demonstration, lunch or dinner with the Chef, and a catalog of the school’s recipes to take home.
