Jimbaran

Jimbaran Fish Market
If you ask anyone in Bali where to get the best fresh fish in the island, right away they will say Jimbaran. The local fishing fleet is based here, at Kedonganan, a five minute walk by the beach from Jimbaran Puri Bali Hotel.
At sunset you can see the traditional boats departing for fishing and in the night you can see lights dotting on the horizon. Early in the morning the fishermen will be selling the fish in the market, sitting tightly packed, calling out at passers by, to come and take a look at their fish. You can find tuna, barracuda, snapper, squid, shrimp, lobsters and all kinds of great stuff. Nelayan Restaurant at Jimbaran Puri Bali offers the catch of the day. |
