You will continue the trip to the Sacred Valley where you will have a choice of staying at either the Sol y Luna or the Casa Andina Private Collection hotels for two nights, where you'll feast on daily breakfast, lunch and dinner at your hotel. Day 3
This morning after an energizing breakfast enjoy many of the exciting activities that Ollaytantambo has to offer; horseback-riding, biking, a walking tour or simply discover the Sacred Valley at your own pace. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Lunch and dinner are included at the hotel.
Day 4
Early transfer will be arranged to Ollantaytambo train station to travel to Machu Picchu via the luxurious Hiram Bingham train; enjoy brunch and mimosas on board. The train will arrive at Aguas Calientes at 12.30pm when the guides will take you up to the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu by private bus. Upon arrival check-in for a one-night stay at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge located in a privileged area right at the entrance to this magnificent site. After check-in, get ready for your two-hour tour around one of the most outstanding archaeological wonders of the world. Upon returning to the hotel enjoy an exquisite English style afternoon tea with an assortment of chilled and hot drinks, petits fours and mini snacks. Afterwards indulge in a replenishing massage session. This evening dinner will be served at Tampu; the hotel’s signature restaurant.
Day 5
Enjoy a magnificent dawn from this advantaged location and get ready to embark on different activities such as climbing up the Huayna Picchu or perhaps strolling through the hotel’s lush orchid gardens. This afternoon enjoy lunch at Tampu Restaurant prior to your transfer to Aguas Calientes to travel back to Cusco via the elegant Hiram Bingham train. Enjoy a sophisticated gourmet dinner on board. Upon arrival at Poroy, a private transfer will await to take you back to the Monasterio Hotel for a two-night stay in a deluxe oxygen-enriched room.
Day 6
After breakfast, take a private transfer to the Sacsayhuaman fortress, located 1.24 miles north of the city of Cusco. This 3000-acre sanctuary was built by the Incas with massive stones that fit perfectly with each other. The mystical fortress measures approximately 360 meters long and includes strategically located doors, galleries and towers. Optional, you will then take a guided walking tour back to Cusco. Back at the Monasterio Hotel enjoy a light lunch in the historical courtyard. Later on this afternoon discover the city of Cusco, as we take a walking tour of the city, including the Cathedral and the Qoricancha; the Temple of the Sun. Return to the Monasterio Hotel for a luxurious massage. This evening experience unforgettable moments at the hotel’s signature Restaurant, Illariy, enjoying a three-course candle light dinner with soft music and the restaurants’ signature cuisine.
Day 7
Morning transfer to the airport has been organized for you to board your 320 Airbus Lan Peru flight to Lima; where an ocean view executive suite has been prepared at the Miraflores Park Hotel for a one-night stay. Enjoy lunch at the hotel’s La Terrace Restaurant. In the afternoon enjoy a visit to Mari Solari’s folk-art shop and private art collection followed by a personalized shopping tour in the bohemian and romantic district of Barranco; with its antique republican constructions and artsy shops. Or you may indulge in to a luxurious massage. This evening dine-in at Poissonnerie, the hotel’s signature restaurant.
Day 8
This morning transfer to Lima's international airport; upon arrival you will be greeted by a member of our staff who will assist you with your travel arrangements before you take your International flight back.
