We will continue our trip to the Sacred Valley where you will have a choice of staying at either the Sol y Luna or the Casa Andina Private Collection hotels for two nights, where you'll feast on daily breakfast, lunch and dinner at your hotel. Day 3
This morning after an energizing breakfast, enjoy an exciting half-day of activities that includes all the Sacred Valley has to offer: horseback-riding, biking or simply discovering the Sacred Valley at your own pace.
Day 4
Early morning transfer will be arranged to the Ollaytantambo train station to travel to the Inka trail’s Entrance Point via the Vistadome train. The train will arrive at km 104 where we will embark on a six-hour walk to Machu Picchu. This is a taste of what the entire Inca Trail is like; a journey that makes us marvel at the intellectual and spiritual grandeur of the Inca civilization. We will have a hiker’s lunch en route. On our way we will discover the enigmatic ruins of Wiñay Wayna. Upon arrival check-in for a one-night stay at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge located in a privileged area right at the entrance to this magnificent site. Thereafter get ready to start the two-hour tour around one of the most outstanding archaeological wonders of the world. Upon returning to the hotel enjoy an exquisite afternoon "English style tea" with an assortment of fresh and hot drinks, petit fours and mini snacks. Afterwards indulge in a replenishing massage session. This evening dinner will be served at Tampu; the lodge’s signature restaurant.
Day 5
Enjoy a magnificent dawn from this advantaged location and get ready to embark on different activities such as climbing up the Huayna Picchu or perhaps strolling through the hotel’s lush orchid gardens. Have lunch at the lodge’s signature restaurant, Tampu. We have arranged an afternoon transfer to the Aguas Calientes’ train station to travel to Cusco via the luxurious Hiram Bingham train. Enjoy a sophisticated gourmet dinner on board. Upon arrival at Poroy, a private transfer will await to take you back to the Hotel Monasterio, for a two-night stay in a deluxe oxygen enriched room.
Day 6
Enjoy this morning at leisure. Later on, this afternoon, a light lunch will be served in the historical courtyard at the hotel Monasterio. After lunch we will take a private transfer to the Sacsayhuaman fortress located 1.24 miles north to the city of Cusco. This 3,000 acre sanctuary was built by the Incas with massive stones that fit perfectly with each other. The mystical fortress measures approximately 360 meters long and has doors, galleries and towers strategically located. We will then take a guided tour to the city of Cusco, as well as a tour of the city, including the Cathedral and Qoricancha; the Temple of the Sun. This evening experience and unforgettable moments at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Illariy, enjoying a three-course candle-light dinner with soft music and the restaurants’ signature cuisine.
Day 7
Morning transfer to the airport has been organized for you to board your 320 Airbus Lan Peru flight back to Lima, where a ocean view executive suite has been prepared at the Miraflores Park Hotel for a one-night stay. In the afternoon enjoy a visit to Mari Solari’s folk-art shop and private art collection followed by a personalized shopping tour in the bohemian and romantic district of Barranco; with its antique republican constructions and artsy shops. Or you may indulge in to a luxurious massage. Later on, this evening dine in at La Poissonnerie, the hotel’s signature restaurant .
Day 8
After enjoying breakfast a transfer to the airport has been organized; upon arrival you will be greeted by a member of our staff who will assist you with your travel arrangements before you take your International flight back.
