SUMMARY
Day 1
Upon arrival in Lima, transfer to the Miraflores Park Hotel, a hotel with incredible ocean views. Overnight in a wonderful Ocean View Executive Suite for two nights.
Day 2
After breakfast, spend the morning touring downtown Lima, also known as "The City of Kings". Thereafter enjoy a visit to Larco Herrera Museum which houses an extraordinary collection of pre-Columbian art objects. Return to the Miraflores District and go back in time at the Casa Garcia Alvarado, built in 1912 and recently recognized as a national heritage building on account of its Republican architecture. Enjoy a fabulous set lunch menu in this enchanting place. Spend the evening at your leisure.
Day 3
Transfer to the airport, where you will take a flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Hotel Monasterio and to your Deluxe Oxygen Enriched Bedroom, your home for two nights. Lunch will be served in the Main Courtyard. In the afternoon there will be a private tour to the Sacsayhuaman fortress and to the nearby ruins of Quenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. At the end of the day, enjoy an exquisite dinner at La Cicciolina Restaurant.
Day 4
We have arranged a private transfer for a full day at the Sacred Valley, starting at the city of Chincheros, which still has the infrastructure of a typical Inca town. Afterwards, savor an exquisite lunch at the Huayocari house, where you can have a wonderful view of the valley. To continue this magical journey you will travel up the valley to Ollantaytambo, the last Inca town that still retains its original architecture. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the MAP café, located inside the most important Pre Columbian Art Museum in Cuzco.
Day 5
Morning transfer will be arranged to Poroy from where you will travel to Machu Picchu via the luxurious Hiram Bingham train. Upon arrival, check in for a one-night stay at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge located in a privileged area right at the entrance to this magnificent site. Next on your itinerary is a two-hour tour around the site, one of the most outstanding archaeological wonders of the world. Upon returning to the hotel, enjoy an exquisite afternoon "English style tea". This evening dinner will be served at Tampu; the hotel’s signature restaurant.
Day 6
This morning enjoy the wonders of Machu Picchu with a private guide with optional activities of your choice, such as: Hike up to the Huayna Picchu, Sunrise at the Inti Punku or a concentrated visit of Machu Picchu. Return to Cusco via the Hiram Bingham train. Upon arrival at Poroy, transfer will await to take you back to the Monasterio Hotel for a one night stay in a Deluxe Oxygen Enriched Room.
Day 7
Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Arequipa, known as the “White City”, watched by the magical volcano “Misti”; you will overnight either at the Libertador Hotel or at The Casa Andina Private Collection Hotell. At night enjoy the great local cuisine in a set dinner at the hotel.
Day 8
Early morning transfer to the Colca Canyon one of the deepest and more determinant canyons in the world dotted with small towns that preserve their customs and traditions. Overnight for 3 nights at Las Casitas del Colca Lodege. Las Casitas Del Colca provides a rare opportunity to relax and reflect on the beauty and tranquility of the Colca valley. Spend your time in harmony with the canyon and its surroundings. Full board is included for the entire stay.
Day 9 & Day 10
Relax and enjoy all the activities the hotel offers you: bird watching, cooking Lessons, fishing, horseback riding, bike rides, thermal waters, and marvel at the majestic flight of the sacred Andean bird: The Condor at the "Cruz del Condor".
Day 11
Early morning transfer to Arequipa. Savor a delicious lunch in a typical restaurant and then enjoy a tour of the city with a private guide and car and visit the Santa Catalina Monastery. This Colonial monument is over four centuries old, and contains a mini citadel inside the monastery walls. Later, transfer to the airport to take your flight back to Lima. Overnight at the Miraflores Park Hotel, in an Executive Ocean View Suite.
Day 12
Morning at leisure, after lunch, at the hotel,enjoy a personal shopping tour. You will later be transferred to Lima’s International Airport to take your flight home.
