While you are staying with us as a guest of Ubud Hanging Gardens we are delighted to be able to give you the opportunity to learn how to paint with traditional Balinese painter Dana.

Born in 1963 in Bali, Dana has painted since he was 14 years old.  He grew up in rural Bali, surrounded by rice fields where he undertook his first drawing and painting using a stick in the moist loam of the paddy field.  Hardly surprising that nature has emerged as a central theme in his works of art.

All paintings in the Ubud Hanging Gardens have been produced by Dana.
