A journey on board The Royal Scotsman takes guests straight to the heart of the Highlands, through landscapes of towering, pine-clad mountains reflected in mirror-still lochs.

The Royal Scotsman takes 36 guests in 16 twin and 4 single cabins, all with private facilities and comfortable beds, furnished in country style. Two dining cars and an observation carriage bracket the sleeping cars. The observation car is dotted with sofas and little tables that are just right to hold the champagne and whisky which flow throughout our journey. Travelling only during the day, the train berths at night to ensure a sound sleep for guests.

Life on board the train is relaxed and indulgent, with the freshest, finest produce served in the dining cars. After dinner, over a wee dram, a local clansman recounts tales and legends that bring Scottish history alive, All meals, wine, alcoholic and other beverages are included.
