Itinerary
Day 1 - Istanbul
Embark the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express late-afternoon in Istanbul. Settle in your cabin and indulge in with a sumptuous dinner on board.
Dinner included. Overnight on board.
Day 2 - On the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
The train travels through Bulgaria and on into Romania. After lunch on board, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express arrives in Bucharest. Enjoy an early afternoon tour of the city. Dinner and overnight at the Athenee Palace Hilton Hotel.
Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight in Bucharest.
Day 3 - On the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Rejoin the train for the short journey to the mountain town of Sinaia. On arrival, transfer to a local restaurant for lunch and then on to Peles Castle, the summer home of the former King Carol. Dinner and overnight on board.
Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight on board.
Day 4 - Budapest
Morning arrival in Budapest for a sightseeing tour of this city divided by the Danube river. Lunch is provided before transferring to the Sofitel Atrium Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Vienna and on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Morning departure. Lunch is served as the train crosses into Austria, arriving in Vienna late afternoon, where a tour of this beautiful city is included. Rejoin the train for dinner and your final night on board.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Overnight on board.
Day 6 - On the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and Venice
Breakfast on board while travelling through Italy before your arrival in Venice this morning.
