Itinerary
Day One
Arrive independently at the Goring Hotel. Meet your National Gallery expert and depart around 14.00 for the British Museum for a private viewing of selected drawings by Leonardo & Michelangelo. Later transfer to the National Gallery, where you view the Leonardo's altarpiece painting “The Virgin of the Rocks” and the Gallery’s two paintings by Michelangelo. Return to the hotel.
Evening at leisure.
Day Two
After a private check-in at the hotel, depart on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, for an overnight journey to Verona. All table d’hote meals and house wine with lunch and dinner are included.
Day Three
Arrive in Verona late afternoon and transfer to Milan for a three night stay at Hotel Principe di Savoia. Dinner at the hotel
Day Four
This morning visit the 15th century Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, home to Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece, the Last Supper. This is followed after lunch, to the Ambrosiana Library to see Leonardo’s Codex Atlanticus. In the evening dinner is arranged at one of Milan’s most famous restaurants – Savini.
Day Five
This morning visit Castello Sforzesco, home to Michelangelo’s late Pietà, before enjoying a local lunch and afternoon either at leisure - or a visit to the Brera Art Gallery.
Dinner this evening is at El Brellin, located in the lively Navigli district.
Day Six
Leave late morning for the drive to Florence with a stop en route to visit Villa San Donnino famed for its production of Balsamic vinegar where a light lunch will be served. Arrive at Villa San Michele for 3 night stay. This evening enjoy dinner on the terrace overlooking Florence.
Day Seven
A morning tour of Florence commencing with a visit to Chiesa di Ognissanti to view Ghirlandaio’s Last Supper and later the Accademia to view the statue of David by Michelangelo. Lunch is included before an afternoon visit to Santa Maria Novella.

Day Eight
Return to the city for a visit to the world famous Uffizi Gallery. Lunch in Florence before either an afternoon at leisure or a visit to the Church of San Miniato al Monte
Dinner this evening is at the hotel.
Day Nine
Late afternoon transfer to Florence airport for the return flight with Meridiana (British Airways code share) to London Gatwick (UK customers only).
