Accommodation
Each compartment has a wash basin enclosed in a cabinet, hot and cold water, towels and a dual voltage plug for electric razors. Bottled water, soap, VSOE writing paper and a complimentary Orient-Express magazine are provided. Many compartments have adjoining doors, and can be converted to 'compartment suites'. WCs are located at either or both ends of each sleeping car.

Dining and Entertainment
The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express prides itself on its superb cuisine and fine wines. All food is prepared on board by a team of French chefs, using only the freshest ingredients.
All table d’hôte meals are included in the fare. Afternoon tea and breakfast are served in the compartment. Wine with meals is not included in the fare. Beverages, light snacks and à la carte items are also available at an additional cost. The resident pianist will play in the Bar Car which is open throughout the day and late into the night.
