Events & Celebrations

In the Palazzo’s salons, the art of receiving continues a tradition dating back to the Renaissance. These spaces retain a strong sense of memory, shaped by the many receptions once held here. Today, they combine restored heritage elements like frescoes, stuccoes, and original volumes, with more contemporary uses. They offer configurations suited to private events and cultural exchanges, within a setting where the historic architecture endures, along with its distinctive character.

Salone Vittoria

The Palazzo’s grand historic salon, designed in the 16th century for the wedding of the Princess of Parma.

Opening onto the Santa Fosca canal, the luminous Salone Vittoria was conceived in 1548 to celebrate the marriage of the Duke of Urbino’s son to Vittoria Farnese, Princess of Parma. Its historic décor, reimagined by architect Giovanni Battista Meduna (then also restoring the Ca’ d’Oro) in the 1860s in a Neo-Gothic style, together with its original Murano chandelier, reflects the grandeur of the Palazzo’s great receptions. Over the centuries, the salon has hosted balls, salons, and aristocratic soirées. Today, it continues this tradition with measured elegance, offering a setting that is both formal and alive.

Sala della Cultura

A space for exchange and ideas, witness to the scholarly gatherings that once animated the Palazzo.

Sala della Cultura is rooted in the history of the Palazzo as a gathering place for cultivated minds. In the 19th century, the Palazzo notably hosted the Congress of Italian Scientists in 1847. Restored with respect for its original features, the space retains this role of transmission and dialogue. It is now used for meetings, conferences, and cultural events, all taking place beneath a Neo-Gothic ceiling with a lapis-lazuli sky crossed by gilded bands. Four large floral paintings, attributed to Giuseppe Voltan, echo the Palazzo’s gardens.

Sala della Musica

A salon dedicated to music and cultural gatherings.

Sala della Musica evokes the aristocratic salons where families and guests once gathered at the end of the day. The ceiling, adorned with floral motifs, forms a central decorative feature. At the heart of the room, a grand piano structures the space, while drinks cabinets line the walls. Designed for intimate settings, the room now hosts private dinners, cocktail gatherings, readings, and musical performances, in continuity with its original spirit.
