Etienne Rayssac, Maître d’Art sculptor and ornamentalist, brings his exceptional savoirfaire to architectural and interior design projects. On board the train, the decorative elements he sculpted from Maxime D’Angeac’s drawings brought together the expertise of cabinetmakers, gilders, lacquerers, varnishers, and metalworkers.

His deep understanding of materials and ancestral techniques allowed the creative concept to be adapted to the train’s unique proportions. He sculpted in wood the decorative friezes for the bar, the tables, and the suites, as well as the panels, column capitals, veneers, pilasters, and even the door handles and petalshaped wall lights.

He also created a large Art Deco-inspired basrelief, where vine leaves and grape clusters pay tribute to the House of Lalique. This work embodies the singular nature of this exceptional project: here, absolutely everything is designed.
