Venice to Rome via Florence

Begin your journey in Venice, as the last light of the day fades over the lagoon and the city slowly slips behind you. As the train departs, you glide through the Italian landscape through the night, where the journey itself becomes part of the experience. The following morning, you arrive in Florence, cradle of the Renaissance, where art and architecture define the rhythm of the city. In the late afternoon, you continue towards Rome, as the light softens over the countryside, bringing the journey to its final chapter.

Begin your journey with a private water taxi transfer to Venezia Santa Lucia Station, where you board La Dolce Vita Orient Express in the evening as it departs towards Tuscany. Once on board, settle into your private cabin before the evening continues in the Restaurant Car, where a menu created by three-Michelin-starred Chef Heinz Beck is served. Later, the atmosphere moves to the Bar Car, where a live performance with piano and vocals brings music and entertainment to the journey as the train travels through the night.

Florence and Rome

The second day begins gently, as the landscape moves past your window and breakfast is served in your private cabin or in the Restaurant Car. Upon arrival in Florence, you step into the cradle of the Renaissance, where art, light, and history are present at every turn. You may explore the city at your own pace or choose curated experiences that reveal its most iconic places and quieter corners. In the afternoon, you return on board as the journey continues south. The Tuscan landscape slowly gives way to softer light and open horizons, carrying you towards Rome. The experience comes to an end in the Eternal City, where the journey closes amid its timeless energy and layered history.
