The journey begins at Roma Ostiense station, where La Dolce Vita lounge welcomes you into an exclusive and elegant setting as you await departure. From here, the train leaves the Eternal City, marking the start of a two-day itinerary through the most authentic Italy. The first stop is Bolgheri, reached by crossing the Tuscan countryside, amidst vineyards and roads framed by cypress trees. The village reveals itself through silent glimpses and minimalist architecture, where every detail reflects a deep connection with the land. As evening falls, La Dolce Vita Orient Express sets off again towards Venice. Upon arrival, the city reveals itself through timeless canals, historic palaces, and hidden corners.

Rome and Bolgheri

Day 1

Your journey begins with a private transfer from your hotel or the airport to Roma Ostiense station, where you may relax in the La Dolce Vita lounge, an intimate and elegant space.

Departure is scheduled for late morning. On board, a gourmet lunch crafted by three-Michelin-starred Chef Heinz Beck awaits, inspired by the flavours of the region.

In the early afternoon, arrival in Bolgheri, a small medieval village where you may stroll at your leisure or choose from a selection of à la carte experiences, thoughtfully curated in every detail.

Back on board La Dolce Vita Orient Express, the evening continues in the Restaurant Car, where dinner accompanies the final hours of the day. To follow, a live musical performance with singer, musician and pianist creates an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere, bringing the day to a close.

Day 2

The last day begins with breakfast served in the comfort of your private cabin or in the Restaurant Car, as the landscape slowly unfolds beyond the windows and the train continues its journey towards its final destination: La Serenissima.

Upon arrival at Venezia Santa Lucia station, a private transfer leads into the heart of the city, among picturesque views, historic palaces and reflections on the water.

The experience continues at a nearby winery, set within a private estate. A guided visit leads you through the cellars and production areas, followed by insights into the estate’s history and work.

The experience ends with a wine tasting of selected labels, enjoyed in a relaxed setting in the heart of the countryside. The drive back in vintage cars brings you once again to La Dolce Vita Orient Express.
