Discover Alba, a charming town nestled in the heart of the Langhe, renowned for its exceptional wines and white truffles. In the afternoon, the train departs heading to Rome. As evening falls, enjoy a lavish onboard dinner with musical entertainment, creating a sophisticated and charming atmosphere. Let yourself be lulled by the rhythm of the train for a relaxing night’s rest. On the following morning enjoy a serene Italian breakfast before disembarking at Rome Ostiense.

Day 1
Your journey begins in Rome, where you are welcomed into the refined atmosphere of La Dolce Vita Orient Express. As the train departs in the afternoon, settle into the comfort of your cabin and allow the landscape to unfold beyond the windows.
As evening approaches, the Restaurant Car becomes the heart of the experience. A sophisticated dinner awaits, crafted by three-Michelin-starred Chef Heinz Beck, whose cuisine celebrates Italian excellence with elegance and precision. Each course is designed to harmonize with the rhythm of the journey, offering a refined interpretation of seasonal flavors.
After dinner, continue the evening in the Bar Car, where live music creates an intimate and relaxed ambiance. Let the melodies, the gentle motion of the train, and the understated glamour of the setting accompany you into the night, before retreating to your cabin for a restful sleep as the train travels north.
Alba
Day 2
The day begins gently with breakfast served in the privacy of your cabin or in the elegant Restaurant Car, as the train arrives in Alba, at the heart of the Langhe, where rolling vineyards, historic villages and Piedmont’s celebrated gastronomic traditions shape the landscape.
Upon arrival, local assistants welcome you and accompany you into town. Enjoy its historic streets at your own pace, or choose an optional visit to a celebrated local winery, where you can experience the character of the Langhe through its wines and elusive truffle, its terroir and the generations of craftsmanship behind them.
In the afternoon, return on board as the train begins its journey back toward Rome. As dusk settles, a second exquisite dinner is served in the Restaurant Car, once again curated by Chef Heinz Beck. The evening unfolds with musical entertainment, offering a refined yet convivial atmosphere that invites conversation, reflection, and quiet indulgence.
Later, the Bar Car provides a final space to unwind before the train gently carries you through the night, wrapping the day in comfort and calm.
